I bought these to close file folders. I should have gotten 3 mil instead. It's so thick that I had a hard time folding file folders without lamination issues. However they are great for other things like a cover for making napkins etc. The thicker plastic is very durable. I also like that the pockets have a bit of a grip on the inside so I can easily slip a few in and then laminate them.
