BIG AND ON WHEELS! - Yarn

Is there anything cuter than a big ball of thick merino wool? No? Okay, how about two or more balls of thick merino wool. This yarn is amazing! And big and chunky! And great! …. Well, maybe "Earth, West and Money in the Bank"? ….No, ! Even more merino, wool! Thank you Sandy Hutton.

    Poor quality, arrived everywhere.

I was very excited to see that this yarn is cheaper than the ones you can find on Etsy. Came online to have great reviews but what was delivered is terrible. He was so viscous and got EVERYWHERE. I came back the next day. It was thin, the strands didn't stick together well. Very disappointed. Couldn't knit a blanket. I'm sure I wore more than one blanket.

You have to buy A LOT to make something substantial.

Considering the price I spent I'm a bit disappointed with how little scarf/pad I was able to make with it. It came out thick and nice, but I literally used the entire ball of yarn for the scarf and didn't leave an inch! It's more of a rough price than most knitting projects. The quality of the material is good so far, let's see how it behaves when worn.

Novice Review Good for knitting and crocheting

I have never used thick yarn and have never hand knitted. I'm a terrible knitter in general and have never knitted anything other than scarves. I thought my experience might help those who are new to chunky blanket and hands knitting. Firstly, I couldn't work with this yarn without felting. When I tried I just ripped it apart and it spilled all over me. When I felt it, it became a lot easier for me. Felting was easy and there are many videos on YouTube on how to do it. I have to say I bought a…

    Expensive but beautiful.

I bought this yarn because my mother really wanted a solid knit blanket. The Pinterest-esk project advertised it as a cheap project but that must have been before they checked the wool price! To make a small quilt (about 4 x 6 feet) I had to purchase five skeins of this yarn using 1.5 inch needles. With all this, the final product is really nice and soft. I had serious problems knitting: this yarn was twisting too much on its own, so I had to unwind the whole ball of yarn and unwind everything…
