Looks nice but child won't tolerate it

My kiddo wouldn't keep these on for three seconds - complained that they were way too itchy (especially the pants). As far as size goes, I'd consider ordering up for an average size kid. My child is 8, I ordered the size 10, and they fit perfectly. She's not big or tall or oversized in any way for her age.

Pros
  • Girls
Cons
  • Not Durable: Merino wool is known for its softness and warmth, but it is not the most durable material. The base layer set may wear out quickly with frequent use and washing

Perfect light base layer

Purchased for skiing, a bit itchy at first but my daughter didn’t complain too much, after a few washes it gets better. I like it’s wicking proprieties, kept her dry. Light enough for the three layers she wore. Thin enough to stay comfortable. Will purchase again,

Won't Stop Bleeding Color

Wow. I've purchased plenty of merino wool underwear for my family, but no sets have bled color like these. Several washes later, these are still dying my daughter's legs dark. We are vry, very displeased with this purchase.

Pros
  • Active Base Layers
Cons
  • Expensive

Truly machine washable Merino wool!

I have a kiddo in outdoor school and as you can imagine, we have gone through several different brands of wool base layers. This one is by far my favorite. Why?- They are truly machine washable and dryable, and unlike other brands that claim to be machine washable, the fabric is thick and does not develop holes or fray after going through the machine.- A reusable delicates bag is included that can also be used for other laundry.- Value for money for the full set can't be beat.- The fabric is…

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • Itchy Material: While some children may find the Merino Wool Base Layer Set to be soft and comfortable, others may find the material to be too itchy or irritating
