Everything works fine, only the khan on the remote control didn't work.

Everything works fine the only thing the remote control didn't work but I have contacted them and messaged to see if they can send a replacement. I'm waiting for an answer from them when they send it back, changing the rating to Five Star, works great, the only downside now is that the remote control that came with it didn't work. The update got the remote control and everything works wonderfully. To update. I've been running it 18 hrs plus 7 days a week in my shop and still no problems

Looks like it's not plug and play that needs tweaking.

Does not work as hoped. I connected my HDMI cable from the DVD and from the direct set top box and then connected the output of the HDMI cable to the TV. DVD does not play, only direct TV. Both inputs switched and still only showing live TV so both inputs work. The only way to play a DVD is to unplug the TV cable from the output and plug it straight into the DVD, which I was trying to avoid when buying this unit. The HDMI RCA box never worked. Turned it off when trying to get the DVD to work…

Stops working after 2 weeks.

The unit worked fine for 2 weeks and then there was no picture or sound on any HDMI outputs. After some fiddling with the HDMI cables, the device started to work intermittently. Called Mermak Direct (supplier) to arrange a replacement; incurred long-distance communication costs in Shenzhen, China. The guy on the other line picked up the phone but didn't say hello and hung up. On the second call he answered in broken English and made me wait while he had another conversation for 5 minutes.
