the sole fell apart: my review

This product was chosen for its reputation, outsole and ability to shed water. For the first time parts of the sole came off on a muddy trail. On the second track soaked in water, most of the sole came off and part of the tread began to break off, leaving an orange color on the dirty track. The soles of both shoes were damaged. I ordered this through Revain and understand that they do not control the quality of individual items. But Merrell has a great reputation and I was very surprised and…

Pros

Cons
  • Limited size available

Owned for less than a week.

I've been wearing them for less than a week and the rubber on the sole of the shoe is already coming off. I bought them for a trip to China next week and now I have to put up with it. The shoes would have been great but they were already falling apart.

Pros
  • great fit, great grip and the soles won't hold onto mud, mud or rocks...perfect on the boat!!
Cons
  • Inconvenient for everyday use

The right sole came off after a day

return of the shoe. They were comfortable, but after a few stumbles, I took off my right boot and noticed the tread on the sole was coming off. I haven't decided yet whether to try again or not.

Pros
  • Very comfortable, better than I thought and great price
Cons
  • May not be suitable for various outdoor activities

Comfortable though. feedback from me

They fit great but I took them on an easy hike and after 3.2 miles the bottom tread was almost gone. They're so comfortable and I'm a huge Merrell fan, but they need a major redesign of the outsole and outsole. upset

Pros
  • The breathable mesh upper allows air to circulate freely, keeping feet cool and dry even in hot and humid weather.
Cons
  • May not be durable for long-term use

Resizing without the consent of the client

I only had one dislike. Half a size larger was replaced without my consent. I'm an athlete and that creates a very big problem in shoe performance.

Pros
  • Kaminar por agua
Cons
  • They work well in the rivers but the rubber soles deteriorated after my third trip. I will not recommend it if you are hiking in Hawaii. . .

Cozy? Yes. supportive? Yes. persistent? No.

As can be seen in the photo, the shoe protectors were completely destroyed and unusable after only three trips. The shoes were extremely comfortable and seemed to provide enough cushioning for many hours of walking, but they weren't made of durable, quality materials. I would recommend these shoes to people who will only use them for short trips in the water and not for longer hikes that combine water and land. I found the overall design of the shoe to be flawless as the treads were very grippy

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Outsole fell apart Best in Athletic

The soles are worn and fallen off. I sent them back so I have no pictures

I have had Merellas before and love them but this shoe was not well made. I have a tough hike ahead of me and I bought these to prepare for it and I took them on ONE 10 mile hike and the pants were completely worn out and a sole was coming off. The writing on the inside of the shoe was completely erased, but it's purely aesthetic, and the outsole fell off after a hike. I had the shoes for a week and they looked like I had them for 6 years. These shoes didn't work and I will never buy them…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Communication with seller

The protector fell apart in just a month!

These were the most comfortable pair of sneakers I have ever owned. These are the lightest and most comfortable running shoes. A month after I bought it, as I was walking down the street, I thought something was stuck to the sole of my shoe. As I lifted my foot, I noticed that a large piece of the tread had been torn off. It was very disappointing. This makes walking difficult, if not impossible, when the protector is missing. The glue holding the tread to the bottom of the sole seems…
