The end can be unscrewed by hand

The end can be unscrewed. There's no point in having a lock when someone can just unscrew and pull off the cap on the other end.

Ideal for 2.5 " hitch receivers.

This works great in my 2020 F250 Super Duty with 2.5" receiver and also in my trailer. Good that all 4 keys fit on both locks.

Not easy to use at all

The tongue lock was a pain. You insert the key and screw it into the lock to lock it. Are you kidding me? The clutch lock had rubber washers to match the clutch size. What? CHEAP CHARACTER!

Peace of mind for tugs and winches

Easy to use. The same key fits in both locks. Locks the hitch so it cannot be used, or locks it in the closed position so it cannot open when towing. The hitch lock securely locks the hitch in the receiver. I had this set with my previous caravan and when I bought my new motorhome I bought this set again.

Works perfectly! Best in Towing Products and Winches

I see a few people complaining that the latch is bolted with a key. I don't see how this can be a problem, I really like this design. They must be doing something wrong, or they have a defective device. The clutch lock comes with o-rings to keep it from loosening or rattling in the socket. Good quality powder coated and supplied with 3 reinforced wrenches. The clutch lock has a rubber cover to prevent water or dirt from entering the lock.

Get a trailer lock. It's not worth it.

Trailer lock broke after about 2 months. I guess I should have just used a padlock. If you plan on keeping it on all the time, it might work better. I suspect the tiny parts can't handle the need to toggle them on and off to remove. The bullet lock isn't removed that often, so it didn't break. a while.

Cheap Chinese Scrap

Worked great for the first month. Then the lock began to fail. Fill with wd-40. Still eating. Luckily I got it from the tow truck before the key broke. Warranty information say contact the seller. The seller is based in China. Great opportunity for service there. The hitch lock is a hassle to use as you have to insert a key to turn the latch toggle to unscrew the lock. Takes about 4-5 turns and if you have your key on the key ring this task is more difficult than necessary. I will not buyโ€ฆ

I love it. And let me tell you why.

The other one I had was a 90 degree lock This means your key enters perpendicular to the post that goes through the hitch receiver On the whole this makes unlocking easier than that Look for the keyhole. But that's not a problem now that I have it. With the old one, I also had to turn the key to lock the broken thing, so it took more finesse than the frustrated menopausal woman on Versed. This one just snaps in place. And then has a good rubber dust cover. I'm happy with that. I'm also happyโ€ฆ
