Avoid - Doesn't fit

So you've hidden under a low hanging branch and now you need a spare antenna for your diamond. Don't buy this one. Take care of it and pay $60 for a factory Toyota. On my 1994 Corolla the screw holes were far from that.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Security

Great value for money

This antenna doesn't quite match the quality of the original, but I would pay three times as much for a Toyota antenna. The reception seems pretty much the same. It was just the right fit for the 2001 Corolla replacement I used it on. Good choice for the money.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Out of fashion

1992 Toyota Corolla Replacement

Benefits: Replaced the old antenna that was broken. Cons: No instructions. Luckily I have a friend who is very knowledgeable about cars so it wasn't a big deal for him. If you don't know about cars or don't know someone, this will frustrate you.

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Repair

Works for 94 tercels. Needs some patience to install

Fits my '94 Tercel. The installation is a bit fiddly, you need a little patience. Leaving it in the sun for a while will soften the tubular plastic portion of the antenna, making it easier to contour when placed in the rack.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled

Zero stars - relay

bracket will not fit 1993 Toyota Corolla. The rubber spacer is the correct size but the plastic main bracket is not. "Just drill a second hole," someone said above, "the problem is that the bracket has threaded metal lugs that are molded into the plastic bracket and I have to drill an overlapping hole because they're less than half the diameter of the screw." Hole. The rubber spacer is the correct length but is too short for a plastic mount.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

does not fit 1994 Corolla DX

advertised for 1994 Corolla. not for 1994 Corolla. although very similar. The chord is a few meters longer, but that's no big deal. The screw holes do not match. The plastic part that mounts is about half an inch longer between the screw holes. if I hadn't been stranded with a self tapping screw lying around I would have sent it back and gone to the dealer. Although the reception is excellent.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something else

DO NOT remove the radio until you have read this.

I've been thinking about upgrading the radio but it looks like I need to make a few connections for the wiring harness. Extra work + cost of a new radio in a very old car - not really worth it. We live in the country and with the new antenna I can now receive my favorite stations and not only hear distorted voices and noise. You won't mistake the result for fancy stereo, but it works great for my purposes. Here is the real reason for this rating. There may be people who know as little about car

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
