I have used these to install non-original Alpine speakers in the back seat soundbar and they work great. Not sure what other people are saying about wrong polarity as the plugs fit perfectly and I tested the speakers before screwing everything back in. Perhaps their automaker reversed the polarity. :P It definitely made my life easier when installing speakers.

Let me start by saying that this item is rubbish. I bought 3 packs to install new speakers in my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee and had to make so many modifications to make it work for 4 speakers. The ones for the tweeters were the wrong size and didn't fit, no modifications helped. Now I'm trying to return the one I haven't opened and now it says NO RETURN. Don't waste your time and money, you will regret it.

Speaker harnesses are packaged in pairs. They fit perfectly into the OEM wiring harness and leave about 10 inches of wire. You plug each pre-crimped connector into the appropriate slot on the secondary speaker. Blacks go to (-) and whites go to (+). Many have commented that the wire harness polarity is the opposite of what it should be. Technically, due to color-coding rules, this is not the case. If there is a black wire and a white wire, the black wire is live and the white wire is neutral. If there is a red wire and a black wire, red is live and black is neutral. Suitable. However, I had to exchange the black/white cable in the bundle. I used a small tool to lift the retaining tab over the connector pin and it's easy. How I came to this conclusion.
