This is a large bamboo comb (feels like wood) with wide tines. He feels very strong. I don't know why but because of the bamboo I felt like it wouldn't be as durable. Well, so far so good. I have one of those 'Twilight Zone' moments where I feel like my version of reality is different than everyone else others. My hairbrush sucks. I absolutely cannot/will not use this on my hair. It has rough/jagged areas between the teeth of the comb that grab the hair and tear/break it. Fragments also come loose from the teeth themselves. See photo. The Mgeakoo Bamboo Comb is a beautiful wooden comb with wide teeth, 6.5 inches long by 2.5 inches high and 0.25 inches thick. This comb is "good". It doesn't feel great on the scalp and seems to detangle a little rougher than other combs, but that's okay. I just wish it was a little smaller.

This is exactly the comb I was looking for. I'm so glad I found this comb. This is a beautiful wide tooth comb that is gentle on my hair and scalp whether I comb my hair wet or dry. Bamboo is delicate but durable and will last a long time. I am very happy with this comb. Highly recommended!
