I have had several of these mics. They offer excellent sound quality and are reliable. Very inexpensive. I use them with Sennheiser G2 and G3 wireless systems. The only downside is that the cable on the mic capsule sometimes frays after a while if it's roughly handled by wearers. Given the low price, that didn't bother me as they last quite a long time. These are my favorite microphones.

Very quickly picked up a few for our church Christmas parade. We usually have Countryman mics for speakers, but with all the kids and mic swapping, we thought this would be for the best. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on Sennheiser headphones so I bought a couple. The Sennheisers sound a little cleaner and don't distort at high gain, but these did what we wanted them to do. I have no problem with the sound quality of this mic. In fact, it's very sensitive, so I lower the recording level to avoid picking up background noise. It also appears to be very well constructed. The MIC-J 017 is the third lavalier microphone that I want to replace with my Sennheiser ME2 wireless microphone. The cable is short and appears a bit thinner and thinner than the ME2, but the short length prevents tangling. The head clip is larger and feels more durable than the ME2.
