MICTUNING Backlit LED Light BAR Symbol Push Button - Toyota ON-Off Switch - White, 1.28 x 0.87 inches Review

Matches my 2020 Tacoma and nice blue. The only problem is that the light bar image doesn't light up and when you press the button there's no indication that you've activated the light bar. Decent for the money and fits in one of the empty light switch slots very snugly and seems decently made. I get what I pay for but it works like a switch. Wiring was pretty easy too.

The on/off switch is a great option! However, the construction is wrong; When you are driving and it is dark in the car, you have two options to turn on the switch, but the light on the circuit does not indicate when the light is on. You could illuminate the switch when the light is on, but if the car is dark you might not be able to see the switch directly.

Worked fine but then when I inserted it into the OEM pre-punched hole in the dash it didn't work unless I held it with my finger but as soon as I let go of the button my light bar went off. I pulled the switch back out of the hole (it fitted fine, like other regular Toyota knobs, yes it worked, I put it in the slot, it only works while you keep your finger on the knob, sort of Defect in the design as this item is ideal for the OEM slot on my dashboard.

As other reviewers say, this button works fine until you install it in the 4Runner case. Something is preventing the button from fully engaging, making it an instant-on button. I fixed it by finishing the inside edge of the button. This is not visible after installation. First I tried sanding the edges. That's why you see the white edge on me. But it did not work. I installed this in my 2020 Toyota Tundra for my Diode Dynamics LED bar. Easy install, and the only reason I removed the star is because it doesn't sit flush like the other knobs. Just installed a lightbar on my 19 4Runner and used it as a switch. Adequate, but not outstanding. If you push the switch all the way down where spaces were, the button either stays depressed and you can't turn it off, or the button goes in and instantly pops out as soon as you release it.
