Great quality

I like these switches for my Polaris Ranger but they don't match the quality. some last long, others deteriorate quickly. I just had to replace a brick light switch I installed last year. At least they are easy to replace.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • No instructions

Still happy! - Toggle switch

Rocker switch from this brand was recommended to me when I bought it online. As long as it works the way it's supposed to. The biggest flaws I've found so far are these. The cover flange is not much larger than the switch body so be careful when cutting a hole for it. Plastic construction and doesn't appear to be very durable but still works.

  • Good, but not great

It wasn't what I expected

I bought it for my extra headlights. The lights have three wires, the switch has five pins. Using the switch instructions to connect the light wires and the included switch bridges I was able to blow the fuse on the dash. My pretty rocker switch now sits dusty in its shipping box and never gets used.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I don't remember but it was something

Larger than specified

You need to adjust your specifications for the hole size! I had a custom bezel made based on the sizes and dimensions listed in your specs and the switch is too large. The guy who designed it used the CAD program we use to design large industrial structures and keyed in the exact dimensions. The wafer was then cut with a fiber optic laser with excellent precision. Now I'm trying to figure out how to enlarge the hole without creating a sloppy hole.

  • beautiful item

Works great in my Viking VI

I love these lighted rocker switches! You definitely want a 5-pin switch instead of a 3-pin switch. Basically, I see the difference that the 3-pin lights up when the device is on, while the 5-pin has an on backlight. When pin 5 is on, another light will illuminate below the image. It makes sense to me to use a backlit plug if you're using lights. If you're using a 3-pin switch, you'll have to look for the switch in the dark. Oh, make sure you use a relay when starting something with a…
