🔴 Milescraft 1219 CircleGuideKit - Achieve Perfect Circles with Ease Review

I built a rotary tool carousel that required 2 40" round 3/4" MDF boards. It worked perfectly, I was able to set up the router and cut both circles in less than an hour. The good part is when I was done I also had 3/4 MDF gussets from the corners cut off. Use and craft shelf supports. I was then able to remove the router and disassemble the guide and store it back in the box until I needed it again and needed to make a bracket. I'm so glad I got this.

Documentation is fine. It's not written very clearly, but it works. I used the instructions and cut out a large circle. Good work; No problem. Used an offset base to help move the router around the edge to round out the top edge. I CAN'T REMOVE THIS THING. I ended up heating the outside edge with a heat gun, hoping to raise it, then I had an assistant pull it and I pulled the router the other way. First off, this isn't a bad review. The tool is solidly made (albeit made of plastic) and should do its job well. With one caveat, sawdust can clog the joints between the router base and the template. But, boy, has it been redesigned. The designer missed the lessons of simplicity.
