Makes circles easier

For years I've struggled with cutting or making circles - it just isn't easy. I recently found a YouTube video of a factory round bait and then found this one. For $40 it was easy. See the product description for details. I found connecting my 30 year old Bosch B1450 plunge router easy. I used Bosch screws that came with a plastic plate and small washers and everything was fine. I didn't have to drill any additional holes, I just needed washers to increase the diameter of the screw head. The above project are the latitude adjustment blocks for a homemade equatorial wedge for my telescope. I first considered cutting the slots on my drill press and actually did for another fastener component, but it's tough on the press and the results weren't as smooth. With this kit I just carefully pulled the edges, set the set screw as a stop and quickly cut the slots. The outside diameter of the block was also simple. As for the outside diameter, I cut through the bulk first, then cut the piece to the gauge blocks on the table saw, then reattach the jig and cut off the last piece. Even if it was necessary to readjust the scale because the screw was hidden on the 10" diameter, it was very easy to go back to the exact diameter. I have found that, as with many instruments, the scales are not entirely accurate. a bit with a little circle to get the exact position of the cut but once I had it the cut went very smoothly and I had no problems with the movement or anything. Easy to set up and use - Instructions are very clear and detailed - Although the plastic is very thick and feels sturdy - Handle with care and it will last for years - Everything comes in a nice sturdy box containing all the parts holds together CONS - Really, it's just a minor thing: As with many tools' gauges, the scale is a bit off, so make sure you don't just rely on the scale if you need very precise cuts.
