I like the anodized finish, it has a good thickness, numbers and markings are easy to read, but unfortunately it has two main disadvantages. The edges of the square are rough, resulting in jagged lines. I was expecting grounded edges like most metal squares. If you're using a large carpenter's pencil this won't be a problem, but if you're using a mechanical pencil you'll get jagged lines.
