this is a great toy box overall. it's pretty easy to assemble. It's a sturdy toy box and heavy. I like that the top stays up and doesn't fold down. The only downside I have is that the hinge screws don't line up, the top keeps opening even though we did everything right. When we put the pillow on even though it stays down haha that's funny. We also didn't get any stickers with our little ones' names on them. but it looks great the way it is.

I am writing this review because I am very impressed with this toy box. First, the parts and instructions are arranged so nicely that it is very easy to put together. . It still took a while, but that's because it's a quality product. It is made from real wood, not cardboard/plywood/other cheap stuff that others might use. This wood is beautifully stained. All in all a great product that I was very happy to buy.

The first package received was missing a front panel, I was given 2 covers instead. I had to wait a few days for a replacement but the second one came with all the parts except for the stickers. I collect without the help of my husband. It was a bit difficult, but I made it. I'm not used to packing so it took me 2 hours. However, I like the result. It's very cute and sturdy and fits ALL of my childhood toys. Definitely recommend, just hope you get it right the first time!

I love how neutral these toy boxes are, they look great in the living room or in our children's bedrooms. Each of our little ones knows which one is theirs because we have personalized it with the stickers provided. Our boys also love having a little bench to play with toys on. Our packaging does not include stickers but we received them from Dollar Tree for personalization. People who say the metal screws stick out below are turning the floor upside down. (If you've ever read this review, the good news is that you can fix it with a Phillips screwdriver, just flip the device over and remove the screws.) Absolutely Terrible. This thing was very difficult to assemble from the start. We've ignored feedback on its build as we're BOTH quite happy with it. After thousands of tries, we couldn't get the lid to work properly once we installed all the hinges. At this point we should have received a refund, instead we left it without the middle loop. DO NOT waste your money. I'm not one to write a nasty review but this toy box slowly and surely fell apart completely and almost broke my 18 month old son's arm. I should have known better.
