I've been looking for this aquarium light for YEARS (SERIOUSLY!). I have a Glofish and couldn't find the right light. Then I came across this one. This is a great size for my small aquarium. The cable is very long so you won't have any trouble connecting it and keeping the tank at a distance. Love the options to change colors and turn on the light; this is one of the reasons why i bought this lamp. Now I use white and blue light at the same time, and today I just set a timer for 6 hours. I submerged this in my aquarium about 4 inches underwater and gently pressed the suction cups against the glass. I've only been using it for about 4 days when I noticed water collecting in it! I quickly unplugged it and took it out of the tank. There was more than an inch of water in there! When I turned it over, the water just ran out! It's been a week and I'm very impressed with this lamp! Have a 2g hex tap tank. The actual length of the 7.5 inch rod is actually just over 7 inches so it could be placed in the lid of this small tank next to the built in LED light. In the plastic cover for the previous headlight I drilled 4 small holes and screwed them on with a zipper. Could fit into these without modification. Perfect!
