Review on MingDak Submersible LED Aquarium Light: Timer Auto On/Off, White 🐠 & Blue, 3 Modes Dimmable – 7.5 Inch Fish Tank Light by Katie Atencio

It's been a week and I'm very impressed with this lamp! Have a 2g hex tap tank. The actual length of the 7.5 inch rod is actually just over 7 inches so it could be placed in the lid of this small tank next to the built in LED light. In the plastic cover for the previous headlight I drilled 4 small holes and screwed them on with a zipper. Could fit into these without modification. Perfect! About 8 inches from lamp to substrate and there has been significant plant growth in the last few days. You can see how the new shoots, small leaves, and larger rooted leaves at the top are significantly larger than those that grew under the previous "Daylight" LED. White is 8 "clicks", I think it's 90% and blue is 4 clicks, which I think is 50% brightness. The timer works great and turns off after 6 hours as set. No, this is not a full spectrum multicolor LED lamp. but for base plants with lower lighting it seems to work well. I agree with other reviews that the lit area is about the width of the LED strip so plan your one or more strips accordingly.
