If you're after a super small light for edc this is a great option. I put a rechargeable AAA in there and it's plenty bright for anything close up out to about 30-40 feet. I've never seen such a small light that includes a strobe. The UI is low, medium and high by twisting the bezel but if you have it just so, you can press in for momentary on, and a double press sends the strobe. I carry 2 lights, one on each backpack strap as a sort of "headlight" if you will to light my path as I…

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • The batteries drain quickly, limiting its use

Still a great budget light

I bought this light under a different brand name a couple of years ago and daily carried it since then. This light is identical to that one except for the name engraved on the side, so I'm confident posting this as a "long term" review. The size, weight and build quality are shockingly good given the price. Battery life is also excellent in the low and medium power modes, but it chews through the battery on high. It also gets a little warm on the highest setting, but not so warm that you can't…

Pros
  • ‎This bright keychain aaa flashlight K3 is waterproof with white diffuser to serve as table light, cap light and camping light
Cons
  • The flashlight is not ergonomic, making it difficult to hold comfortably

Does the job but could be better

This is a nice little keychain flashlight and surprisingly bright. Better than those cheap little push button led lights. For some reason mine didn't come with a way to attach the chain to the flashlight so I had to use an old keychain. Also I'd rather if this had a on off button rather than twist the top to turn it on. Its a small thing but would be easier to operate if your hands are full.

Pros
  • ‎Aluminum alloy
Cons
  • The flashlight doesn't have any special features, making it not worth the investment

The K3 is a great little flashlight: easy to use, convenient to have with you at all times, and capable of putting out far more light than most would imagine.I've owned this light for awhile now and carry it every day, everywhere I go. It's been dropped, smacked, rained on, and generally used hard. I would say it has been abused at times. It still works as it did when I first opened it.I have nothing but praise for the K3.The exterior is well finished in a matte black anodizing, and features…

Pros
  • DURABLE AND WATERPROOF
Cons
  • The light can hurt your eyes when it's too bright

A must have! I love it!

This is way better than I expected. I took a chance buying this but at such a low price you can’t lose. Wow, this is amazing! I never thought it could be this good. It’s tiny like the size of a key but it is very very bright. Honestly this is brighter than anything else I have. Just to compare brightness I took it outside along with my tactical flashlight, pointed them up at the trees, and I’m telling you this little flashlight lit up that tree. It has 3 settings and a strobe. It also comes…

Cons
  • The flashlight easily gets hot, burning your hand in the process

It is much brighter than a standard 3D maglite and even comparable to the newer LED maglite's lumens. Those expensive maglite I remember being OK which used expensive 3x D cell batteries and bulbs always died are now beaten by a TINY AAA flashlight company. This light's description should be updated to say it doesn't have a moonlight mode, instead it is a low mode. The 'moonlight' mode is too bright (the 0.1 lumens is false, closer to a 3-5 lumen low mode), but it works well in the daytime. It…

Tough Little Light on my review.

You won’t regret this little light. I work as a night shift RN and I love me a good little flashlight. This one is perfect to hang on my badge without weighing it down. The brightness feature is fantastic because it goes from regular to really bright and a flashing setting as well. The material is a tough, good quality metal that doesn’t scuff easily.Overall this is a cool device that I have on me at all times at work. If you want a small little flashlight for your badge or to carry in your…

Fits great on Leatherman holster.

Great little single AAA flashlight. Slightly shorter than my "pinky" finger in lenvth, significantly less in girth. Not much larger in girth than the battery it contains. It doesn't allow for beam focus like some larger flashlights have, but it does have a good useable beam pattern. It has 4 modes. Low, medium, high and strobe. There is no pushbutton switch. You turn it on by tightening the threaded lens barrel down all the way. The brightness modes are sequential, requiring a barrel twist…

Pros
  • ‎1 AAA batteries required.
Cons
  • The flashlight is not made with eco-friendly materials

1 year later. on my review.

It has been a year since I bought this light as a key-chain light for my primary set of keys. I have carried it every day (that I left the house) and use the light almost every morning to navigate around the dogs in the early morning hour when it is still pitch dark outside. The light itself has been phenomenal. No issues at all. I use the low setting for the dog watch and the higher settings for everything else. It is plenty bright for me.The battery life if acceptable. I do not burn this light

Pros
  • ‎1.5 Volts
Cons
  • The flashlight is too complicated to use, requiring too many steps to turn it on and off

Very nice option in a AAA light

Pretty darn impressive for a AAA light. For eons i have had a Fenix e01 on my jeep and Harley keychains. I guess they don't make them anymore. I bought this and was pleased. I didn't know I missed the 3 modes. but it is nice. I also like the candle function. have always used that a lot.I got over myself with the Surefire CR123 batteries you can't find in a lot of places a d moved to all AAA lights about 7 ish years ago. Honestly, with these keychain lights and a Streamlight microstream. I got…

Best AAA light for my opinion

I'm kind of a flashlight / gadget nerd and have owned MANY AAA lights, but this one is the best. I love the Thru-nite as well because the low (firefly) mode is dimmer, but overall the nitefox takes the cake. It's a bit smaller diameter than the current Thru-nite, (the old version was smaller) and the diffuser is way superior. It's soft and pliable so you can easily store it on the tail end of the light until needed, and it won't fall off. The mechanism for turning on seems to be more consistent

Pros
  • Safety & Security
Cons
  • It's too big to fit in small pockets or purses

These are my go to EDC

These are my perfect technician flashlights. The only reason I’ve gone through the several I have is I keep misplacing them. But I keep coming back to this model. The candle mode is perfect for pathfinding when I don’t want to disturb anyone/anything. And the overdrive blows my mind. The battery won’t last long if you constantly run it at it’s brightest, but that is documented and known. Eventually there won’t be much difference between the brighter and brightest settings. The lightweight of this…

Pros

STOP here- this is exactly what you're looking for

I love this little light! It's exactly what I was looking for to carry on me at all times. I use it way more than I thought I would (in the smartphone era you'd think you'd just use your phone light but I can pull this out so much quicker and set the brightness by a turn or two). The little kit it comes with has all kind of neat things in it (replacement parts and such). As a recommendation, I superglued the clip to the light and didn't put the fastener on. I keep it hooked inside the small…

Pros
  • SMALL BRIGHT BUT POWERFUL
Cons
  • Easy to accidentally turn on in your pocket, wasting battery life

Nice little light in my review

Very nice and handy little light. Compared to most other lights out there, this is nearly ideal for a very small AAA form light. The twist switch keeps the light very compact with a flat cap for perfect tail standing. And though not quite one-handed operation, the knurling and rubber gasket friction allows for reliably easy twists. I really like the reversible clip and have used it on my cap as a headlamp. The OP reflector creates a pretty smooth hot spot and this XP-G2 LED has a good tint…

Pros

Cons

Tough Little Flashlite

I have always had a small flashlight attached to my keys, those keyfob type with the big button and coin cell battery. They never lasted more than a few months before the batt died or the button stopped working and they weren't very bright. I love this new light. It is made of rugged aluminum, small enough to be attached to my keys in my pocket and VERY bright for its size and one AAA battery. It seems to throw as much light as a bigger 3 battery LED light. It can't turn itself on in my pocket…

Pros
  • ‎0.3 ounces
Cons
  • The flashlight is not bright enough for long-distance signaling

Not too bad best in my review

It's a nice little light and I like that it has different modes but it's not 150 Lumens. Compared to the thrunite Ti2, at 120 Lumens, you can see that the nitefox (on t right) isn't as bright. My guess would be around 90-100lm. I have used it quite a bit and it's been very useful as a fishing rod light for when we're fishing late at night. It's light enough that it doesn't really bend the tip of the pole and we can see when the fish hit. It's been in the water also and it hasn't leaked at all…

Pros
  • Impressive. I have not yet had time to check the battery life.
Cons
  • Batteries need frequent replacement, making it expensive to maintain

Durable, Bright, Compact

I am all about flashlights. At 53 years old and have worked my entire life in the technical repair trade and having a reliable flashlight is essential. I am constantly working inside poorly lit machinery so a good flashlight is one of the most important tools that I can have. This small (super small) light delivers big. I reversed the clip (it is designed to flip) so that I can affix the light to my hat and that is very useful for hands free lighting. It lasts about 2.5 hours per charge on…

Pros
  • GIFT PACKAGE GOOD VALUE YOU MAY GET
Cons
  • Brightness levels are not adjustable enough, making it difficult to find the right setting

Very bright, AAA battery huge benefit

I've had multiple keychain flashlights but this one is great. Bonus it uses a AAA battery insread of some dinky one you may not have in the house. Battery life also pretty good when you use it only when needed.

Pros
  • ‎3 Watts
Cons
  • The flashlight is not durable and can break easily

Good for price good for me

Unnoticable on my keychain. I use it a lot.Only drawback is unscrew to turn off . . . Has led to it unscrewing in my pocket and having to reassemble it in the dark.

Pros
  • ‎LED
Cons
  • Limited range of light coverage makes it difficult to use in large spaces

Amazingly, Contins a Micro Circuit to Convert 1.5v to 3v.

The light is pretty bright for a small flashlight. I like that it can take common 1.5v AAA batteries, rather than an expensive special 3v battery. It did eventually fail. I had to do some work on t
