Mini Tamper 32Oz Vitamix Container Review

Works great with a 48oz blender. 4 stars because of the inability to wash in the dishwasher. Although the specs say it's dishwasher safe, the tube collects water inside. Hand wash recommended!

I ordered a refurbished blender with a 32 oz jar but did not order the matching tamper (not included). I started using a smaller container and realized I need one and use it every time I make something.

Pictured is 5.91 inches from flange to floor which would be ideal but no. The one I got is 6⅜ long, just long enough to hit the blades. I'm very dissatisfied, if I could give negative stars I would.

My old one was cut and food got stuck in cracks and holes. If you cut one, buy a new one as food scraps will rot in the cracks or inside and can become very smelly if not dangerous. Great product and I will be careful not to use it without the Vitamix attachment. The product hits the blades directly without hitting them.

Like another buyer, I write "ATTENTION THE PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE" The pusher falls into two parts. The parts fit together with the silver warning tape of the power cord for the Enigma multifunction kettle. This is bad workmanship and bad design. This tamper is solid and will not fall apart while working in your hand

No description left whether original or aftermarket. I received the product in a plastic bag and a universal box. So I think it's aftermarket. This is NOT 1 whole piece. The handle and body are connected by a male-female connection. However, they fall apart when used. I wrapped the connector with teflon tape to hold it in place. Even then, with a thick mass, stirring will still loosen it. DO NOT BUY.
