Nothing for the serious driver (fragile).

Almost every day I ride my recumbent trike 20 to 35 miles. The skeletal arm broke at the base from the vibration of the road. It's aluminum and broke off while driving. Garbage.

A RECURED TRIK MUST HAVE

With unconventional handlebar directions on a recumbent hang glider, finding ways to mount lights and bike computers (a Garmin 1030 in my case) can be a daunting task. THAT was the final decision. I was able to install it on the front tube of my ICE Adventure as well as my Garmin and headlight. Super stable - just great!

Pros
  • a good thing
Cons
  • almost everything is fine

Great extension to add more accessories to your bike.

I need at least 3 flashlights for driving at night:1. flashes for oncoming traffic.2. and 2 LED spots for street visibility. There are some brands that advertise high power candles but I had to take 2 more flashlights.3. phone holder. This item was a perfect fit for all 3 flashlights as well as my phone mount. This setup can be overly complicated, but it's best to be safe. It's also fairly light so it won't weigh you down too much.

It may be necessary to wrap the area where you intend to install this.

I put it on 1" poles. I had to use the spacers that came with it and a few extra rubber sleeves. But once in place, it stays secure. They aren't designed to be heavy Holding items but are great places to mount cell phone holders bike gps mounts and other similar lightweight items I have a bike gps and side mirror attached to mine works great you can also center the crossbar or off the mounting stem moved, which is also a plus.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Only available in black

Better quality expected

I wish the ring clamp was a larger diameter so it could be secured around the frame. Elastic fasteners hold the hanger easily. All adjustments stay in place with no play due to road bumps. *Update: After two weeks of use, the mount started to loosen. So tighten the fasteners on the bracket. Then the unexpected happened - the barrel nut broke! OK. The bracket is only attached to the handlebar stem. That's why we put it in the bushings of the brake and shift cables. As a result, the cables wereโ€ฆ

A solid holder that gets the job done and keeps accessories organized

I use it for my flashlight and it gets a lot of use as I ride my bike before sunrise every day. I've built a Frankenstein bike that has Shimano combo V-brakes and a Trigger derailleur on tight tracking bars and I don't have room for anything. Love the way it attaches to the neck of the riser which allows the flashlight to be centered. not postponed. I also like the ability to mount it upside down as I like the cleaner look with nothing sticking out of the handlebars. It's aluminum so it'sโ€ฆ

Robust and reliable holder for accessories!

I am very happy with this accessory holder. Although it doesn't have the ability to rotate the 'clip' at the bottom to allow you to mount it on your handlebars and it is designed to be 'neck' (for lack of a better word) mount that holds your handlebars, I used it to mount 2 "Niterider Lumina 500" lamps, holds very tight! I've been on dirt roads (lots of bumps and rocks) on paved roads (not well maintained) with lots of sticks, gravel, potholes, bad (attempted) repairs, etc. and this mount hasโ€ฆ

Sticks firmly and securely.

There were several mount options that suited the job. It was a pretty shitty shoot deciding which one to order. Enine, Meenie. I chose the one that works, great! It's mounted on a stem with no gaskets, tightened up, and stays tight for the first 50 miles that I use it. The Cree headlight used one of the spacers that came with the light to attach the light mount to the support rod and it was solid with no vibration or light beam ricochet. I used the "pivots" to adjust the angle of the bracketโ€ฆ

Easy to install, holds two accessories securely.

My Rans V-Rex recumbent bike has hamster handlebars. The bars work very well but don't have much room to install accessories. I used this nice accessory mount to add extra space for a bike computer and headlamp. I've attached a picture of my bike, you can see the headlight well above the handlebars and it's held by the Minoura accessory mount. The bike computer is harder to see, but it's there too. I was worried the yoke wouldn't hold tight, but with a small rubber washer I made by cutting theโ€ฆ
