REVISION 9/23/2020 - 1 hour laterThe solution below failed. A half amp power supply does not cut it, I now have a 5A power supply I used for an old router that seems to power it just fine (on TX side). That said, I'm checking periodically to make sure something is not getting too hot. It is more stable now, no intermittent operation.REVISION 9/23/2020So, reading for another similar product, I tried putting a power supply on BOTH ends, it now works. I had tried to move the power supply from TX…

Cons

Item was clearly a return

HDMI extender was sold as new. When it arrived, there was obvious evidence that someone had previously mounted the devices to a wall using the mounting ears (they were bent, and paint was scraped off by the screw heads). Further, one of the 5V supplies was dead (probably why the previous customer returned it). I replaced the supply with another I had available, and was able to make the extender work as advertised (that's why it got 3 stars instead of 0). Disappointed by the seller (which is the

Pros
  • 300FT HDMI Extension
Cons
  • The device may require significant maintenance and upkeep

Worked great!: my feedback

Simply plug and play! I have two TVs close enough to each other that the sound carries from one room to the next (family room and kitchen). They are always on same channel as we constantly are going back and forth between the rooms. There was a several second delay when streaming content and the difference drove us crazy. These sync both the picture and audio perfectly! Note that you do need an HDMI splitter from the source, but I got one from amazon for under $14. And I already had coax…

Pros
  • Works great. No issues with the product.
Cons
  • The device may not be able to handle high traffic volume

Works great best in my review

Works seamlessly allowing me to run the HDMI from the AVR through a coax cable from basement to family room one floor above

Pros
  • Remote Control Extenders
Cons
  • The device may require frequent software updates for optimal performance

Does not work! Dont waste your money.

Could never get the USB to work. PC would shut down due to USB over current. Manual is poorly written and there is not support.

Pros
  • Had occasional drop outs of audio and video put very rarely.
Cons
  • I only received 1 receiver and 1 power cord. I did not receive the sender and its power cord!

Works as advertised.

I plugged the receiver in and it worked great in conjunction with the other transmitter, splitter and receiver. The picture is great.

Pros
  • Hotspot Tech
Cons
  • There may be issues with sound quality or audio delay during transmission

Won't work if plugged in a switch.

There is no second power supply but its supposed to operate on POE. I couldn't get that to work because it needed a switch or hub connection. The power went off when plugged into a switch. Return item.

Pros
  • Good video quality
Cons
  • There is a risk of signal loss over long distances

V3. No Sound with Dish

I upgraded to Version 3.0 so i could add two more RX devices to my system . But for some reason Version 3.0 with Dish is not passing audio. I've tried two TX/RX pairs with no luck.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • The product may be prone to technical glitches or malfunctions

Works Great. good for me

I connected the HSV375 from my satellite receiver to a TV, thru a 60ft RG-6 coax.Great picture and sound on 720p and 480p.My Dish Hopper Duo doesn't have a 1080p setting, just 1080p/1080i.On this setting, the coax extender might work on shorter runs, but may be unstable. Not the fault of the HSV375, its made for "p" progressive scan and not "i" interlaced scan resloutions. If your using a true 1080p unit, there should't be any problem.FYI, When you first power up the extenders, give it a minute…

Pros

Cons

Picture is fine. Audio fades in and out.

This is my second Mirabox HDMI Coax Extender. The previous one had sound that faded in and out and lasted about a year before the sound went completely out on the transmitter portion. This one has a similar problem -- the sound fades in and out. I'm afraid the sound will go completely out shortly. The picture is excellent. This set up is exactly what I need since I have existing coax running to my patio TV. Wish it wouldn't have the sound problems. Would also like Mirabox to offer just the…

Awesome picture quality

Awesome product. Let me extend the split HDMI signal from the cable box and show the same DVR recordings on a different TV without a monthly fee.

Pros
  • 262FT KVM and HDMI Extension
Cons
  • The device may interfere with other devices on the same network

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Yes, it really does work!

My first question was, does it work? I hooked it up using (what used to be) the coax antenna connection to the TV ands picture appears just as good as ever.I needed this because my TV is on one side of the room and my entertainment is on the other. When the house was built 26 years ago HJDMI did not exist and I future proofed (!) the installation by adding S-video and audio cable runs between the two. Fast forward a few years and now I need HDMI. At first just mounted the DVD player and Apple…

Cons

Misrepresented in advertising.

When ordered I thought I was purchasing a transmitter and receiver. Part received was just a receiver. Now I must order both again because transmitter is not offered as a single purchase. Description details are very misleading. I hope it works.

Pros
  • Install easy great picture they could work on the price a little bit I'm sure
Cons
  • The product may not be compatible with all devices
