Excellent and easy controls

I worked in Arizona with a 20 amp fan and it worked 100% accurate. His dead streak and setup is always there. Make sure there are a few things, folks. Install it in a high and dry place. That's the number one reason these things fail! B. Install near the fuse box where it will not be exposed to continuous heat exceeding 150°C. This is the second reason for failure. Follow these two rules and he will never die.

  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some little things

Cheap kit components but works as it should.

Overall a good product. It works, except it always blows the fuses (I got to 50A and it's still blowing after a month or so). My definition is that the components are about 5 out of 10 because of their "cheap" quality (relays, connectors, etc.). In general, it works as it should, except for blown fuses. I just keep a pack in the glove box and change the fuses when needed.

Okay, but you need an extra fuse holder.

I was surprised to see that this device is connected to the ground side of the circuit after the fan. Even more surprising was that there is a fuse between your fan's ground and the controller. There is no fuse between the positive battery terminal and the positive side circuit of the fan motor. I ended up buying a sealed fuse holder to protect the entire fan circuit. Otherwise Units works great.

General option: Motorkit products

I vouch for 5. In my experience, Mishimoto has been reliable and clean. Of the options available that I saw in my fan controller search, this set turned out to be the most complete and simple. Not installed yet, will update but first! I got this controller to help me with an old GM 3.1 60° V6. Not sure if this was an issue in later versions, but in my car the fan wouldn't come on until the temp gauge hit 220-230. Not cool*. The auxiliary fan only works when the air conditioning is running…

Accidentally broke while testing the fan?

After I connected the fan and tucked the wires in a makeshift location so they wouldn't snag or snag, I checked the fan maybe 2 times to make sure it was working properly works, after installing a makeshift sensor, I tried a third time to set the temperature at which the fan turns on, but when I tried to check the fan, the relay just started buzzing very loudly, and then just stopped working for no reason, i tried another relay but nothing worked so i don't even know what went wrong, i haven't…
