Not powerful enough or accurate enough even for small projects.

Bought for making picture frames and no pleasure in using them; In my experience, these clamps only make sense as a supplement to real corner clamps. They *will* temporarily hold two small pieces of wood at about a 90 degree angle, but not securely or accurately. Not accurate enough for beveled corners. I ended up buying a ratchet belt clip and used those clips to hold things together while I adjusted the belt. Not recommended.

Not Very Good/Wrong Description

Yes they work but they don't work very well. They don't offer much clamping pressure unless you're using a 3/4 inch blank. Bought because it supposedly works 5-19mm. 1/4 inch is 6.35mm and is the thinnest I usually work with I thought it would be perfect. It doesn't fit the 1/4" shank exactly though. I got curious and grabbed a caliper that showed 7.5mm as the only thickness, you could have a board on each side and close it. 2" wood and that will work for it.

  • Questionable Purchase for Elderly

Technically, they do what they say.

But honestly it was very difficult to get them to fulfill this requirement. Spring is very hard. What it should be to keep work safe. (However, I can't help but predict the future when these springs will weaken with continued normal use and there is no other way to increase the vise pressure.) I don't have to worry because I don't have the arm strength to tighten them use at all. The middle triangle that moves needs to be centered with the hard springs pulled back and the wood (2x4 doesn't fitโ€ฆ
