Modern Masters ME651 16 Extender 16 Ounce Review

I used it with pale gold metallic paint. The lengthening helps a little, but it doesn't create the orange peel effect, nor does it make painting easier.

I use this paint along with Modern Master Pearl Metallic paint to stencil a dining room wall. I've had great results with sharp edges and minimal bleed on a textured wall.

Bought this roller and recommended it for painting an 18' x 20' platinum ceiling. Roll marks weren't a problem - there were streaks, but they went away after 3 coats (clean paint needs 3 or more coats to look like a solid metallic). We were afraid this project would fail, but it turned out great!

If you use stain or color glaze - or any surface that requires a glaze - like marbling or anything artificial, this product is invaluable. Modern Masters is one of the best out there; even their colors are amazing. I love every Modern Masters product.

Having used at least 30 different gallons, liters and numerous modern master paints, I wish I had bought this paint sooner! This gave me almost a half gallon of extra color when there was about 3 inches left in the gallon. Great company and product. Worth the price. I will always have these on hand!

I used a 4 ounce extender on my quart of Modern Masters Metallic paint. This added a bit more drying time, which was more beneficial than the first coat (which is why I came across this product). You'll probably need to use a lot more extension than recommended to be honest, but I still see roller marks even when rolling backwards to avoid lines.
