As previous reviewers have pointed out, some of the pre-drilled screw holes are off-center, making assembly of this chair more difficult than it should be. I hope the manufacturer reads these reviews and moves the screw holes to make assembly easier for future buyers of this chair.

yes it is a good chair. It looks good and durable. However, having only 3 steps to put everything together was bloody difficult. The pre-drilled holes with the metal trim didn't line up, so it took another pair of hands to line everything up and put the screws in place.

I think this is a very nice and comfortable chair. I have used padded seats for the same price and it is much more comfortable. I assembled it in under 45 minutes. The only downside is that the weight is 331lbs and I've had guests above that. So fair warning.

The instructions for this chair recommend that two people operate it, but I was able to assemble it myself in minutes using the box it came in. This required a Phillips screwdriver and included screws and an Allen key. I like the chair's clean look and it's quite comfortable.

Luckily I had an expert (son in law) who put it together for me with no problems. The style of this chair suits me very well and I will be buying a second one soon. It matches my furniture, easy to clean, comfortable and I use it as a dining chair. The chair is of good quality and looks good so it has everything I wanted.

I love this chair - it's so cute. Looks like other molded plastic chairs, but I really like the almost shaker-like style of the base and legs - nice light wood, very simple and perfect for almost any space - kitchen table, extra chair in bedroom, office chair, dorm chair - you name it. Nice and simple. It's easy to assemble if you can use force to line up the holes in the wooden crossbars for proper alignment. I used the tool that came with it as well as an electric drill to finish the crossbars. It is well made and durable. The seat is flat and hard, so you'll need a pillow if you want to be comfortable for long periods of time.

My wife loves this chair from Modway. She made me get it and now she really likes it. It's all wood and very stylish. Set up was quick and easy, but not exactly easy. The quality of this chair is very questionable and I would say you would not want to use it in a heavy use scenario. First, the milling of the parts is not very well done. You can see in my photos that there are HUGE gaps between some of the pieces. Instead of milling the parts at an angle without gaps, they only left gaps!
