Moen 100561 Handle Adapter Kit Review

Outrageously overpriced. But that's okay for small parts that are unique and not available anywhere else. I love Moen but wish they were more responsive to parts pricing.

The product is easy to attach to the sink handle. It was tight for the first 3 months and then the right side handle (cold water) started to wobble. I disassembled and reassembled it, but the right side keeps wobbling.

The cold side handle on our Moen bathroom faucet gradually came loose and 'broke'. I looked at the parts list and thought I could see what was probably broken and what it would take to fix it. This replacement set hit the spot. The details fit perfectly. We're back in business!

New life to your Moen faucet and works great. My only suggestion is that if you are unfamiliar with how to disassemble this type of Moen faucet, look online for instructions on how to do this before attempting this. There's probably a YouTube video or videos showing you how it's done.

Works great. A tip: do not overtighten the screw when attaching this part to the faucet body. If you do this, it will jam the faucet body to the point where it won't rotate and you won't be able to install it. Do not overtighten the screw (turn slightly and stop as soon as you feel resistance) - it will take 5 minutes.

In the last few years I have replaced 2 of these with original bathroom faucets. The original plastic easily breaks, rendering the faucet unusable. These new ones are color coded but not reversible. So if you need more than 1 cold or hot, you need to order 2 sets. Similarly, you can try to get Moen to send you a free kit, but if your renter needs a faucet for work, you don't want to wait for Moen to save $11.
