🚰 Moen 159560 Replacement Hose Service Kit: Enhanced Kitchen Faucet Performance Review

I ordered this hose directly from Revain.com (verified as seller) and what was delivered is not as pictured. In the delivered product, instead of metal, there was a plastic place for connecting a faucet. Also, the hose is much thinner than the original hose and also shorter in my opinion. I didn't even bother to install this as the quality is below par.

My original faucet/hose was new in 2014. With normal use, the hose had recently ruptured and was leaking profusely. There are no "standard" replacement tubes and I had trouble figuring out which tube I needed because Moen offers so many different models. This one fitted well, but still not exactly the same. The connections at both ends correspond to my original, but the outer diameter is noticeably smaller. Works satisfactorily so far.

Replaced my Moen hose which had a slight leak with this after making sure I had the correct hose for my faucet model. There was some concern about the smaller diameter hose than the original hose but after reading some previous reviews and having this hose installed which seems to work great I am no longer concerned about this product. Very easy to install. I'm so glad the plumber didn't show up and I installed it myself. The hardest part was getting up and down off the floor.

I thought I'd order a genuine Moen hose specifically for my faucet. I think that makes sense since I ordered using the exact Moen part number. It turns out it's not part of Moen. It is THIN (in diameter) than the original AND SHORT. Well to be fair. it worked, it had the right ends, and it only took 30 seconds (literally) to install. Ordered this for same day delivery yesterday when I noticed I had a leak under my kitchen sink caused by a leak in the hose itself. I figured I could walk down to Lowe's or Home Depot on a Sunday morning, buy a new hose and install it in 5 minutes.
