Replacement for 110722 but has a catch

This item actually works as a replacement for 110722 which is the original brass adapter on my Moen Adler faucet. However, its design is so slightly different that the handle now makes a knocking sound when the faucet is fully opened. It's not a big deal, but it's annoying enough to deduct a few stars.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Functionality

Perfect for Moen Single Lever Bathroom Faucet

Thank you for bringing this. Perfect to replace the broken one in our 20 year old bathroom faucet. It took my husband 2 minutes to fix it. Big box store was sold out, it would take at least 5 days to order there. It's only been 2 days through Revain. Looks like a much better replacement. The original was from a pan.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • No Instructions

Just the Fix I Needed

This is just what I needed to fix our old faucet. I've been looking for this part online for a long time and was glad I finally found it here. I wasn't sure if it would fit because the part number was different than what was printed on the old broken part, but it did. It came quickly enough and not expensive. Just perfect. I'm glad to have a working faucet again.

Pros
  • Pretty Impressive
Cons
  • Null

Must be marked with "100484 ".

Exactly what broke and needed replacing. It wasn't easy to remove other parts for replacement, but the price was right. The parts are marked "100484" so I don't understand why that number isn't listed in the ad. The old sink that came loose has no information (that I could find) about the model OR manufacturer. The new grip bolt was a bit longer, so I used the old bolt (a hole full of years of dirt).

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Secret

Includes Part #100484

Moen Grip Adapter Kit 94746 includes Grip Adapter #100484 and a 3/4" socket head screw. Please note that 2000's Chateau single handle shower faucets use 5 allen head / 8 inch. This kit does not include the plastic clip that attaches to the valve stem. Before installation, apply silicone grease to all mating surfaces, including the clamp shaft. 1 star deduction because the Allen screw was too long.

Pros
  • Great for me

  • Some cons

Threaded hole missing. NO replacement for 110722.

This adapter fits my faucet and easily screws in etc. It also comes with a screw to attach the faucet handle. HOWEVER, BIG PROBLEM. The original part number 110722 has a small screw hole at the top for the faucet handle screw to go into. This replacement adapter has no screw hole. There is no way to attach the faucet handle to the faucet. In addition, the size of the included screw corresponds to a non-existent screw hole. There is a large screw hole on the front/edge of this replacement…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Comparison of 94746 with 110722

Pictures:1. defective part 110722 installed on my crane, top view2. 110722 (connected parts) next to 94746, top view3. 110722 (connected parts) next to 94746, side view4. 94746 installed on my faucet, top view5. 94746 installed on my faucet, side view. Differences from Note: 1. 110722 has a screw hole on top. As far as I could see it wasn't used on my faucet and it didn't seem like a problem if the 94746 didn't have it. They didn't seem essential to the job. The faucet feels slightly different…
