Not Worth the Purchase

As a result of using this product i found that it was nearly impossible to use during nighttime video game sessions .The supposed "backlight" was extremely dim and barely illuminated the keys. While the controller worked fine, the lack of a visible keyboard made it difficult to communicate with other players. The only pro was the convenience of having both a keyboard and controller in one device. However, the cons outweighed this benefit and I would not recommend this product..

Do not buy if you plan to sit more than a few feet away.

I set up an Xbox at a desk with a computer monitor, the USB port is plugged into the front, I followed all the advice and such in the comments and the only thing I could decide was email to use. I'm legally less than 2 feet from the USB receiver and there are still times when I need to place the controller within 12 inches or it won't print. If you want this to work while sitting on the couch away from the TV I wouldn't recommend this. I have one from another brand that I'm replacing with this…
