I put them on my 1987 Silverado and they did.

I put these on my 1987 Silverado and they made a huge difference in handling. I feel more connected to the road and not jumping over hills or bumps

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • So-so

Great buy: spare parts

Really like them, they are VERY easy to install. Any people who said they were difficult to put on must have used their feet to put them on. VERY EASY AND MY 84 C10 DRIVES LIKE A CADILLAC NOW LOL

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Can't remember

Recommended in parts

Installed the damper on a 1969 Chevy C10 two years ago, More felt stiffer and more resilient but unfortunately the damper force balance was disrupted by too much pressure on the control arm. Both of my tires are already worn out. That's good, but I advise you to check the alignment.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons

Perfect for rails

I'm not using it for its intended purpose so I won't discuss it. What I will say is they are solidly built and look great on a custom sand rail project. Very good product, much cheaper and better than many rollers sold for sand rails and dune buggies. They have a 5/8" eyelet on one end and a 1/2" eyelet on the other. They are 14 3/8 inches long from eye to eye and have a stroke of 4.625 inches.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Compatibility

Powerful Great Shocks

Perfect for my 1970 Chevy C20 pickup. Like the others here, they're pretty tricky to install, but with a good pry bar and a little elbow grease, they go in with no problem. After installation I drove the old green car and what a difference, especially when the old shock absorbers were worn out and just for beauty. Not only do they look aggressive, but they also help the suspension of an old farm truck. We'll see how they hold up when I carry some weight to bed since I've replaced all four.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Expensive

Installed a full kit on my 1970 C10 chase truck. The whole truck went up about two inches! They drive a bit rough now but I only got 3 miles with them. (I'm sure they'll break in like any other new shock. Yes, they were a little tricky to install, but not much harder than any other gas-filled shock that you have to compress to install. Just get a lever bar. Handy as I did for the fronts and pry them into the bottom bracket to get the bolt in. I'll update this again in a month or two (truck runs

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Out of service

You get what you pay for

The shock absorbers work as they should and provide a relatively smooth ride for my 34 year old 1985 Suburban. Installation was relatively easy, if stressful without a lift. The shocks aren't very stiff, but they do make my bike sit a little higher than the worn shocks that came with the truck. It may be due to my long wheelbase, but I've found that the ride is a bit more playful on constantly unstable roads, but handling is much better on county roads and farm to market with good coverage. All

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Was damaged
