Excellent case! I tried to shake the sleeve off the shorts but the sleeve wouldn't budge because the clip held so well. I like that the clip doesn't protrude and the pocket doesn't protrude from the pants, but fits snugly on the thigh. The magnetic closure of the case is durable and fits the iPhone 12 Pro Max perfectly. And one of my favorite parts of this case is the leather, it's not cheap and flimsy leather but smooth and high quality leather on the case.

The leather is great quality and well made, but if you think a spring clip will hold up better than other styles then it doesn't. It's no worse, but it's no better either, and I was buckled in when I got out of the car. However, this has happened with every case I've had because I carry it on my side. I have had several horizontal leather holsters over the years and this is by far the best in terms of material quality and fit. It's real leather... you can smell the leather as soon as you open the packaging. I use a Spigen Hybrid case on my XS Max, which fits this holster perfectly. I can easily insert and remove my phone with one hand. There is a small tab at the end of the belt clip that holds it securely to the belt so it doesn't fall out.
