Buy a Moog if you can

Moog parts are what you should look for whenever possible. You are still the best. cheaper to find, but mostly not better

Good product, best shocks, struts and suspension

Perfect fit for my 2003 Durango with a very noticeable difference in handling. The old ones had an "anywhere on the road" feel and now hold up much better on the road. I had to grind down old factory rivets that had 130,000 miles on them (glad they were bolted on) and of course they got shot! Should last a long time as I can lubricate them with a mirror fitting. I would recommend them all day, you can't beat the price.

Can't beat the price.

I love Amazon but try to buy auto parts locally. But when two parts stores around town had these ball joints for $35 more than Amazon, it was easy. My mechanic, who allows me to bring my own parts, said this was a great OEM replacement for my 2004 Dakota. Love the fact that I can re-oil them (failed with OEM). If you need ball joints for Dakota or Durango, you should get one and buy it here.

Perfect! in Parts

Replaced the stock ball joints on my aging Dodge Dakota and am very satisfied. No more rattling up front, I can grease them up, unlike the sealed series which are bolted instead of riveted. Installation was quick and easy, but removing the stock ball joints required a lot of drilling, cutting and cursing. Make sure you have a good set of drill bits and a cutter or saw to get the old rivets out.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons

Good quality at a great price

Good quality and just what I expected from Moog. The original upper ball joints on my 2001 Dodge Dakota were replaced at 36,000 miles under warranty for excessive wear. After a little over 100,000 miles the replacement left ball joint wore out so I decided to replace it myself. The job was made easier because the warranty replacement parts were bolted together, saving me the time and effort of drilling out the rivets that would have been necessary on the original ball joints. Revain's price was

Good product! for ball joints

Easy product to install with little know-how and of course tool credit, otherwise not too bad. Of course, Moog is always a quality product. I trust Moog more than most brands. I've used pneumatic tools, but they can be installed at home with regular hand tools with a little knowledge and a strong back. Judging by how much better I feel behind the wheel, I can't complain. I don't have photos of the installed product but they look like OEM only better and a lot cleaner! Guys, great product! You…

A little secret they won't tell you

At first glance it's great that some Revain products are so cheap. However, I have found that unless the seller is an officially authorized seller (dealer) of the manufacturer, the manufacturer is not required to accept returns after the usual 30-45 days from the date of purchase. In the case of these ball joints, they cost twice as much at your auto parts store, but they come with a lifetime warranty. It's supposed to be the same part, so in that case you're paying double the price for the…
