Fits perfectly, no complaints.

Great item, received on time and easy to install. Moog's work so far has been really great. Perfect fit for 2006 Dodge Ram 1500.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Fits perfectly. but lubricated or not?

Perfect for OEM replacement - even the compression harness had mounting holes. I was surprised that there was no more lubrication in the ball joint.

  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Gotchas

Very dangerous for control arms and parts

I would rate it as good but broke immediately as soon as I put the part on my truck. I liked everything about them but they didn't even last long and they are very dangerous. I would feel bad if they broke while driving.

  • Excellent overall performance

Accident within a radius of 3,000 km! Not satisfied

Bought for my truck. After 3,000 miles my truck is back in the shop with incredible play in the upper ball joints. They didn't last at all for me. Ram 1500 2007 Release 5.7L MOOG parts are underwhelming right now. It can't just be a bad ball joint because I did both at the same time and now both are bad. They change in store as we speak.

I like that everything can be lubed by Moog

Up to my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 everything is bolted. My upper ball joint broke causing the shaft axle, strut and tire to break. I went ahead and replaced the CV axles, struts, tires, tie rod ends, anti-roll bars, control arms and all the ball joints. I was about to replace the top ball joint but the assholes at Oreillys sold me the top ball joint for 2500. It bulged but ruined my control stick. It's much easier to just swap out the arms, then try to push the top ball joint out and then press in…

My truck drives 100% better.

Just replaced the upper control arms on my 2007 Dodge Ram 2WD. My truck had 140,000 miles and it was time to change them. Taking the old one off and putting this one on was easy. 1. Jack up the loader under the lower control arm. 2. Use jack stands for safety. 3. Remove the castle nut that secures the control lever to the steering knuckle. 4. Remove both upper arm bolts. 5. Knock the upper ball joint with your knuckle to pop it out. 6. Remove the control handle and install a new one. Remember…

Great replacement arm

I bought these for a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 QC. (I bought both sides and my experience is the same with both) They are exactly the same in form and function as the original. I am totally impressed with them and they are almost identical to the original ones I took off my truck. They are even better than the original in my opinion because they have MOOG bushings and a greased ball joint. For the price, I don't think it's even worth replacing just the ball joint. If you push the old one out and…

Fits Exactly 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 2WD

A common mistake with this design is the upper ball joint. Replacement ball joints are available, but why waste money, time and special tools when you can replace the entire upper assembly on both sides in an hour, including jacking up and securing the car. Removal and installation is easy and fairly low on the complexity scale. . Just lift and secure the car. Remove the front tires. I support the forearm with a block or jack. Loosen (do not remove) the castle nut on the upper ball joint. Place
