Good quality for the price

This works pretty well if you have the right size crimping tool. Using just pliers or another tool can stretch and tear the insulation. However, this connector is handy in that it easily fits smaller wires and holds them securely, while most other butt connectors are overly wasteful or extremely expensive.

Pros
  • Wiring and connector
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Essential for connecting thin wires

For small wires - 20 gauge and smaller, they are the ideal way to connect wires for micro lighting on my model buildings and lighted signs. You can even twist 2 or 3 smaller wires together, insert them on one side and crimp to secure. One end has a small flare that can be used with wires with heavier insulation or when twisting 2 or 3 wires together.

Pros
  • Industry and Science
Cons
  • Big and bulky
