There may be multiple settings but they all have the same speed

Try this blender. With no slow launch speed, rock candy flies through the air! Also, "3 speeds” is the same – FAST! Also, the switch is so sensitive that it can be dangerous if not checked before plugging it in - if I wasn't quicker I'd get my finger tangled/injured in the clubs. I returned it and am willing to spend more to get a reliable brand.

You get what you pay for

So it wasn't an expensive blender, I only needed it for the batch puree and maybe a few other things. It's good for what it's designed for, not heavy use. If you need it for mixing dough or heavier things than mashed potatoes, you'd better pay for something heavy. If you need light work then this will suffice and it works well for what it was designed for. I'm happy with it and knew what I was getting when I bought it.

  • Looking forward to it

So far, so good. - Small household appliances

Seems to work well. I only used it for cake batter. Its speed is a bit crazy. I think another reviewer said that the controls are a bit difficult to get used to, that it's easy to accidentally turn them on at 3. My advice would be to manually mix the dry ingredients together so they're basically at 1 even just before you turn it on, otherwise you'll be kicking up a dust cloud of flour and sugar. But... for a small device under $15, it's a lot better. Ouch. Pun! :)

Powerful small blender

The fan of this blender is powerful! The fan is in the same place as almost every other blender on the market, but it blows out more air, causing dry ingredients to fly around. This doesn't result in a significant loss of ingredients that detract from the recipe—enough to create an annoying mess on the counter and blender. Overall, this is a powerful little machine for the price and mixes well. However, it doesn't really have low settings. I never went over low as it's quite powerful. Be…

But a little more expensive, not worth it

The "Turbo" button is lower than the "0" (off) button and the buttons have to close, so instead of switching off you have hit the turbo. Not healthy. Also, speed 1, which is the slowest, will regurgitate whatever you mix up all over the kitchen too quickly. 2nd and 3rd gear are not significantly different from 1st gear. If you're mixing something thicker like cookie dough, it won't have enough strength to handle the butter even if it's room temperature. I think the only plausible thing this…

Not recommended for blenders

As many other customers have noted, the lowest speed is too high; and almost the same as the highest speed. In fact, this is a single speed mixer. When you turn it off, especially if you're trying to turn it off quickly because your ingredients are splashing all over the kitchen, the switch tends to move from "off" to "turbo" so it keeps running and splashing. Mine broke after two uses. He suddenly passed out in the middle of a load of cookie dough without warning. I won't write "you get what…

Don't let its specs fool you

It was cheap enough for me to buy. I liked that it had built in memory BUT - I had to use it to mix my pancake mix. I used whisks there, BUT - I left the kneading machines on the on-board drive. Guess what?! You cannot use the built-in memory to store another set of mallets and use the machine at the same time. You must remove all 4 racquets to hold and use it. Which makes the onboard storage useless to me. And the space you've allotted for storing the cable in the back - if you don't wrap it…
