I read the reviews and I was very attentive to the installation. There were still problems loosening the screws. Luckily I have a tap and die and was able to fix the screw and hole.

Good product, easy to install. Be sure to clean the threads on your car's roof rails before installing the roof rack bolts or you'll blow the heads off the supplied bolts.

So this product fitted my 2016 Suburban LTZ perfectly and was pretty easy to install. My only complaint is that the screw heads come off with little to no effort. I completely ripped off at least 3 of them (not the threads, just the heads) before they even tightened. If it weren't for that, it would be a solid 4 1/2.

Exactly what I needed at a fraction of the OEM price. I didn't have any of the issues mentioned by other reviewers. As some have commented, leave the adjustment screw on the foot loose when installing it on the car to allow the foot to pivot back and forth and ease the installation. Chevrolet 2015. Speedometer

When I first tried to install this on a truck, the four small hex bolt heads were rounded. In addition, one of the screws tore off the cross member. Almost useless now because I can't attach the crossbar to the bracket. Can anyone tell me how to contact the seller to get a replacement? I think I should have looked for OEM parts instead.

As with many other reviews I liked these rods but the cheap flimsy hardware was a lot worse than I expected. I ended up having to use a screw extractor to remove 3 screws. I purchased $10 stainless steel hardware and am happy with the product. The money the company saved by using these horrible screws is worth the stars in my rating.
