92 Honda Accord EX. Plug it in, no problem

Bolted straight to me Honda Accord Ex. Only downside is the rotor feels cheap. But for the price and ease of connection, there's nothing particularly to complain about.

Pros
  • That's amazing
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Great alternative to the original part

I was a little wary of buying this for my 94 Accord knowing how finicky Honda are with their ignition systems. Although it works great! Reasonably priced, easy to install and you get the whole distributor cap and everything. Be sure to time the engine afterwards.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Empty

Excellent buy best in parts

I managed to buy an almost new part I only paid $20 for! Needed for my 92 chord and auto zone is almost $200. I'm far from a mechanic, but I'm a perfect fit. Installation took about 15 minutes and the car started right away. I've ridden about 500 miles since then and so far so good. Glad I took the risk.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Distributor cap not well made

Distributor cap was garbage. The spark plug wire terminals were too flimsy, the wires basically fell off. I had to keep using my old cap which sucked because I wanted to go ahead and replace the manifold and cap. Although the distribution itself works fine. I appreciate how cheap it is, it's not a terrible deal. Still not very happy.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Not as thick as other samples

Diagnose your problems before you throw parts at it

So I ordered this a few weeks ago and just had to install it. I hate working with cars! Anyway, I did whatever I had to do. He took care of all my check engine lights, power loss, fuel consumption and everything. Better than buying an original Honda for twice the price, even if the used junkyard trucks wanted more. I very rarely buy aftermarket parts as everything is made in China and I'm out of luck because of that. After reading the reviews I took a chance and was happy with the end result. I

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

It fits perfectly on my '93 Honda Accord.

After 1020 minutes of driving my oil pressure lamp started to light up. I thought it was the "old car syndrome". But my Accord 93 got stuck in the parking lot one day and AAA won't start it either. I went to the local auto service for a diagnosis. They want to charge me $969.87 for labor plus a fuel filter change. Parts listed include 3 parts: distributor, distributor cap and distributor rotor knob for $396.09. Ouch! The spark plug and wire set is an additional $82.68. They want to charge $220…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
