Nice tool but expensive.

Well done. Practical box. Instructions are good enough but could be more detailed e.g. B. How to use the blind bearing puller, and provide more step-by-step photos for first time use. This product is definitely a time saver.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Good but not great.

The name "Deluxe" might lead you to believe that this is a good instrument or that it is better than the standard counterpart. Not true. The standard model is much better. With so many sizes, you're constantly changing stamps to get the right size. Save money and just get the standard model.

Pros
  • Easy Installation

Low Grade Steel Components

For removing and installing swingarm and linkage bearings. Seizing occurred on the threaded rods and the blind bearing puller. Grease was used on all threads and contact points. Hand tools were used and care was taken in use. Penetrating oil was applied to the bearings and the components were heated prior to removal.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Compatibility

It works very well. The instructions are a bit vague but I think if you can't figure it out by looking at them and reading the instructions they give you then you shouldn't use this tool. I think most people looking for a kit like this already have some mechanical aptitude, in this case you'll be fine. I'm happy with it and it did what I needed.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great tool! - Motorcycle & Powersports

I've always had trouble replacing swingarm and linkage bearings and got tired of using my sockets to install new bearings. This tool removes and installs suspension bearings with ease! I'm no longer afraid of changing bearings and I'm happy to help out my buddies when they need their bikes serviced. Quality tools with a nice hard shell plastic case to keep everything organized. It is best to watch the instructions on YouTube the first time you use them, as the documents that come with them do…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • So far so good

Nice set but broke after first use

I bought this tool after doing a lot of research on changing bearings and different tools/methods to do it. This was my first bearing change on my newly purchased dirt bike, so I went with the Motion Pro Deluxe Bearing Kit. It had a bit of a learning curve for someone with no experience changing bearings, but with YouTube videos and basic instructions I was able to squeeze out the bearings. I ran into a problem using a blind bearing tool on my connecting link and the tool broke after removing…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some issues

Not bad, would buy more

This is my first time replacing linkage bearings or doing any other bike suspension work. But I recently bought a 99 kx250 and am trying to follow all the steps that you veterans know and do regularly to keep your machines running smoothly. After replacing all the bearings and seals below, I decided to look at the suspension bearings. The swingarm was fine, still lubed relatively clean, and all the bearings turned smoothly with no scratches or sticking, so they were repackaged. The clutch…

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Minor repairability
