Silicone wipes aren't cheap, which is probably why I've never tried them. The rubber seemed to work fine, but I was wrong. These wipers are better than squeegees day and night. They clean the windshield perfectly and silently. I was used to squeaking and scratching wipers, I thought that was normal, but these don't. I can't test the durability of these blades but have been told they last much longer than rubber blades. Rather spend a little more and get silicone, that's really no problem.

I live in Arizona where the summers are around 110 degrees and the monsoons are unexpected. Since rubber dries quickly at high temperatures, I looked for an alternative. These are silicone wipers that last more than twice as long as rubber! And honestly, at these prices, that's not a problem. Install them carefully because there is plastic that can break like all other wipers. I'm pretty sure they will last for years. I will update my review if there are any changes.

I have a 2006 Cadillac CTS, Base, 3.6 and these Motium all season wiper blades fit perfectly. To insert the J-hook, you need to pinch the grooves on the J-hook holder, open them, then insert the J-hook between the wiper blades and lock them. Figuring out how to properly insert the J-hook was tricky at first until I watched a video of Anco wiper blades and realized I had to squeeze and open them. They don't streak and keep my windshield looking like new.

Installed easily, followed instructions and ran on a dry windscreen for a few minutes. Later wiped the windshield with a windshield wiper, nothing but a blotchy surface and streaks. It rained for the first time, very inefficiently and very difficult to see through the windscreen. The old worn ones I had were better and safer than these new ones. I'll give them 4 stars and upgrade to 5 if they last. I installed it today and in fact it was raining when I started (Murphy's Law!). They are almost the same design as the original 2018 Jeep wipers I had and are similar to other Bosch wipers I have had in the past. No problems installing, the cleaner took less than 5 minutes.
