Description of Motive Products - 0103 Power Bleeder for Chrysler/Dodge/Mopar Brake Systems

Motive Products Power Bleeder kits use pressurized brake fluid to force air and old fluid out of your brake lines. Just pour clean fluid into the pressure tank, attach the Power Bleeder cap to your fluid reservoir, and pressurize the system using the built-in hand pump and pressure gauge. Features custom cap to fit most late model Chrysler and Dodge cars and trucks. Also fits some after market reservoirs and master cylinders made by Strange Engineering and Wilwood that use two twist on caps. Built-in heavy duty hand pump (no other pressure source is needed) and precision pressure gauge ensures safe and effective operation. Excellent Fit and Finish.

Great product for brake bleed tools

This product worked perfectly during a complete brake change on my 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Bleeding the brakes by one person was quick and easy thanks to Power Bleed. This is definitely a useful tool for anyone who spends a lot of time working on their car, especially if they do it alone. Tip: Make sure you use teflon tape to secure the brass fitting to the tubing that connects the master cylinder cover. If you do not seal the brass fitting with Teflon tape, the bleed valve will not hold…

Better braking performance

Easy to set up, easy to use. Of course it's best to do a leak test first, but once it's filled and pressurized it holds constant pressure all the way from the first caliper to the last (I didn't have to re-inflate the tank). Also, everything I've ever bled was automatically replaced with the pump on the master cylinder, and there was no mess decompressing and removing the block. Finally, I only had to bleed each wheel ONCE, cutting the total time down to 30 minutes! I highly recommend this…

Redemption to work alone. The job can be done in less than half an hour.

Gone are the days of asking for help to bleed your brakes. Once I got comfortable with it, I could complete my entire car or truck in under half an hour. The truck is faster because I didn't have to jack it up or put it on ramps. The only downside I have is that the pressure releases slowly even if you aren't doing anything so you need to keep an eye on it to make sure you're pressurizing the tank. I wish you could buy separate adapters for different makes of car instead of buying them all for…

Makes brake bleeding a 1 person job.

Works great, everything is as in the description. Had to flush out the old brake fluid on my 2004 Jeep that I just bought. This is much easier than the old two-man method of stepping on the ground. Now I need an adapter for my Chevy truck. In the following I would like to rate myself for "suction power". It doesn't work that way at all, but I give it 5 stars for maintaining pressure with no leaks. I wanted to add that someone mentioned using silicone grease instead of petrol based oils. I can't

  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Easy enough for a newbie

I do my own car maintenance but I've never bled my brakes; it always seemed intimidating. No longer. The instructions provided will tell you how to check the system for leaks before filling the bleed valve with liquid. To do this, pressurize the system with no liquid in the bleed valve, and if there are no leaks or pressure drops in the bleed valve, you can begin the flushing/priming process. You depressurize the system, top up the bleeder with brake fluid, repressurize the bleeder, and begin…

Brake Fluid Change in 2015 F53 Motorhome

Flushing the brake fluid in my 2015 Tiffin Allegro Motorhome on a 24,000 GVW Ford F53 Chassis. I thought I should have gotten a Ford 1107 adapter but I contacted Motive and the technician said me that the RVs use a Chrysler brake fluid reservoir (get it yourself). Of course, this one is perfect for a leak-free tank, and be sure to use the included rubber washer on the adapter. The brake fluid reservoir has two caps and is divided into a rear part for the rear brake and a front part for the…
