Doesn't work for me 89

Plastic is hard but not formed properly. Bought for my XJ 89 4.0. Doesn't close as tightly as the old one, I'll try using this gasket on an old oil filler cap and report back.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Almost never

Inaccurate installation chart

Although the cover itself appeared to be well made, it did not fit my 1980 Jeep CJ5 with 258 as advertised. If installation wasn't a problem I would give this case 5 stars.Item was sent and well packaged.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Fits Jeep 87-90 I-6 4.0L

Used for 1988 Jeep Comanche I-6 4.0L. Sits tight and seals. And I like the black color compared to the standard yellow. Prevents oil leakage and spreading on the valve cover. Cheap and fillings. I have no claims. The rubber gasket on it is soft and seems to seal well.

Pros
  • Feel Good
Cons
  • Compatibility

Clean the valve cover gently

Easily replace a leaking oil filler cap. Ideal for Chrysler/AMC Jeep engines to replace overheated stock foam lined caps that are constantly leaking oil all over the valve cover assembly. This bike seems to have a tighter shim for a tighter fit and it is enough to overcome the splash oil leak from inside the valve cover. You should probably schedule a new date every few years as usual.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Interval

Tired of oil on your valve cover?

Pretty quick and easy solution. The oil changer always mentioned oil on my valve cover, which has always been there since I bought the truck. I found the pressure ok. Swapped caps, last oil change, oiler said nothing, and before I swapped caps I cleaned the valve cover. I should have done this when I bought the car and will continue to do so with older cars in the future. 1987 Jeep Wagoneer. Engine v6 4.0l.

Pros
  • High marks for tester support and durability
Cons
  • Nothing here
