🔒 Motorcraft FC1032 Fuel Cap: Ensuring Optimal Fuel Containment and Efficiency Review

Great for my 2006 Mustang GT. The fit and finish is exactly what you would expect from an OEM quality part. I would buy again if I had to. I tried buying a replacement Duralast from an aftermarket store but it didn't work. This Motorcraft part worked great.

This is the same gas cap that was new on my car. Aftermarket gas caps do not have a tether so you risk dropping or losing it. In fact, my original gas cap only worked after the cable snapped and I dropped it while filling up. Now I have a cable again and don't have to worry about it.

Bought this mainly because I received fault code P0456 on my V6 Mustang. I looked at my original gas cap and saw that the gasket was compressed. The comparison between the original and this new one was impressive. Installation took about 30 seconds. I reset the code, drove off, Check Engine is no longer on. A very useful (and inexpensive) first step in code cleanup.

2005 Ford Mustang 4.0L Fits perfectly and clicks as it should - exceptional value for money - I bought either a customer return or refurbished - the listing says the packaging was poor but it seemed fresh to me so i paid maybe half comparable? I'll update when Musty gives the code, but other than the lack of a green BP dot, it has a leash and otherwise the Werx is a gas cap, not a flux capacitor!

I received this product to replace my broken OEM gas cap and it fixed my 2006 Mustang perfectly. Installation was very easy and took less than five minutes including removing the other gas cap. I've had it for about two weeks and haven't had any issues with it and it hasn't triggered any sensors, which is normal with many gas cap changes. The gas cap looks pretty solid, probably as good as the OEM. I am sure that this gas cap will last a long time without any complaints.
