Motorcraft SW7688 Switch Assembly Review

Dealer wanted $65.00 for this part. I found it on Revain, watched the install on YouTube and repaired it myself for a fraction of the cost. I'm a woman, hear me roar!

Works the same as the original. You don't have to go to a car dealership and spend a lot of money. Very easy to install (less than 5 minutes). You just need to make sure you have the two tools you need and it's highly recommended to watch the included Amazon video to see how.

Very quick and easy to replace. Fixed an issue where the wipers would turn on randomly. I'm only giving three stars because this is an OEM replacement for an identical part that was originally intended to fail. Dealer repairs would be expensive.

I have a 2013 Ford Explorer XLT. From what I have done the wipers seem to be a problem for this car model. I searched YOUTUBE for installation information. Went like clockwork. Ease of installation. Now the wipers work great. Doesn't turn off every 3 minutes! So happy with this purchase and product!

The goods came in two days. I installed it the next day after watching a YouTube video on installation. The product worked like a charm. Just don't be like me and install it without disconnecting the battery. I drained my 3 year old Duralast battery and made the jump but didn't hold a charge so I had to buy a new battery. I wish my youtube video had told me to disconnect the battery. It would save me a lot.

Item arrived early. No damage in transit and it was exactly the part needed to get the job done. I'd recommend watching an instructional video on replacing parts, but anyone with a Phillips screwdriver and a socket wrench should be able to perform the replacement with minimal effort. If you're having trouble with your wipers intermittently turning off, save yourself the frustration and order a part. We'll be worth the money.

Ok this is an unnecessary review as I haven't installed the product yet. Although it looks exactly as described and it's a Motorcraft I highly doubt there's anything wrong with it. But it will be on my shelf until I need it again or until I sell the SUV. I bought it because my wipers didn't turn off 100% but rotated to the 1st position.
