Purpose Served Windshield Wipers and Washers

The washer motor did the job it was advertised to do. Installing on my Ford Freestyle is a tricky job, it takes a long time to remove all the components needed to access the washer motor, but once installed it worked very well.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Annoys

OEM fit and easy to install

This pump fits a 2008 Ford Expedition and is easy to install in just minutes. Remove the headlight on the passenger side and reduce the installation time by an hour. I'm a fucking caveman and I did it in less than 10 minutes. Very important. Fits perfectly.

Pros
  • There's something special about this pump
Cons
  • Not bad

does the job. on windshield wipers and washers

I chose professional installation and paid for the privilege. But there is an advantage if you do it yourself. It works out. Time will tell how long this lasts. If it comes out soon I'll revise my estimate down, but for now I'm fine with that.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Negative gift

Do yourself a favor and buy OEM

The original (OEM) washer pump on my 2004 expedition lasted 13 years. When that failed, I went down in price and bought one that sold for about $10 less than this one. The cheaper pump lasted less than 2 years. Considering the hassle and extra time you'll have to spend on the replacement, the extra $10 is a steal.

Pros
  • Regular price

Perfect replacement

Perfect fit as expected. There were no problems with the installation, even the instructions were there, although they are not needed. Delete the old one and paste the new one and reconnect the lines. No problem! Tip: Remove the new bushing from the pump and install the bushing separately in the tank. Then lubricate the pump with some washing-up liquid and insert it into the sleeve. Connect and connect cables and you're done. Literally 5 minutes. Jacking up the car or putting it on ramps so you

Do you know how to work with cars? You really shouldn't.

I'm not mechanical, but I have mechanical friends. They told me that the easiest way to check if the pump isn't working or if the line is clogged is to listen to the pump. If you turn on the washer switch and hear a whirling sound, it means your pump is running. Mine didn't, so I took it. All you have to do to replace it is unplug the wire connector, pull the old pump out of the reservoir (washer fluid will start to spill out, just drain it completely), disconnect the hoses that go to the…

  • Finally bought it
