Revain seller does not include armor like Vikings

Jacket was good and good value for money. The problem is that for some reason the 3rd party does not include the viking armor as intended. If you order directly from Viking, the shipping process can take up to 10 days But at least you get the right product. I ordered these direct from Revain and the Warlock jacket direct from Viking. The Warlock actually had all of the hard plastic/rubber armor as intended. The Revain only had foam inserts, which are useless. I recommend that if you are…

Great bang for the buck!

I've spent a lot of money on high end motorcycle gear like Klim or Dainese. I honestly bought one on a whim and may have just wanted to use it this summer as I don't have a see through mesh jacket like this. Some of my jackets are made of perforated leather, full leather or semi-mesh. I have to say that I was completely surprised at how good he feels. In fact, my biggest complaint is that I wish the sleeves and torso were longer. Mine came with a balaclava and luckily it went from hot and humid

  • Best in class

Really good jacket at a very reasonable price

I've been thinking about a mesh motorcycle jacket for a while and decided to give Viking Ironside a try. Good choice ! At just $42 after applying a 10% off coupon code, this is a steal. Without being too heavy, it's made from a fairly durable mesh that breathes well on hot days. And, YES, my Ironside jacket was lightly zip lined! The lining is finely quilted on the upper body and the sleeves are made of ripstop nylon material. This doesn't make it a cold-weather jacket, but it protects against…

"Highly flexible and adaptable body armor "

Very good jacket for the money. Based on that and my tagline, this may seem like an ambiguous compliment, but it isn't. Later more. The jacket is well made and well thought out. I ordered the large (6ft, 165lbs) and it fits great. It has customizations that allow you to customize it better. It has four outside pockets and three inside pockets. One of them has a zipper and appears to be made of waterproof material, ideal for your phone. The jacket itself compares well to my much more expensive…

Good fit, economical, good selection

I usually choose large sizes as I am currently about 6ft 3in and 230-240 but as there is no option for larger size I have decided for XXL. The body is a little larger than I need, but the sleeves fit perfectly both in length and in the arms. Typically on a forearm guard or Bilt Blaze jacket, for example, they are too tight in the forearm, upper arm, and upper arm, but that's perfect. A little baggy in the middle of the torso, but the unnecessary velcro straps soak it up nicely. I wish it was a…

Excellent airflow and quality construction.

I've only used it on one trip for about 2 hours so I can't comment on durability. But I will say that every piece in this jacket screams quality. Other people read the questions and said that this jacket had no lining, mine had thermal lining on the chest (sleeveless). I recently bought a pair of pants and a jacket that are both waterproof and breathable. Although they are both extremely waterproof, not a single drop was intercepted by a heavy downpour. The airflow claim I found was very…

Value for money performance jacket

Viking Cycle Ironside Jacket. For $60, this jacket does what it's supposed to do and more. As a 6ft 3in, 350+ guy, the 3XL fits me surprisingly well. The only thing I have a problem with, and not a big one mind you, is that the sleeves are a bit short. However, I do have some long arms, so like I said, it's not that big of a deal in my book. Now that it's out of the way, let's talk about all the good things about this jacket, and there are more than a few. Let's start with the fit first, it's…

Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great mesh jacket for the heat

My current mesh jacket is about 5 years old and is starting to look a little dated so I ordered this jacket in 2XL according to the sizing chart and it fits very well, very good actually. Nice number but not floral and not too loose with or without a liner. The sleeves are highly adjustable with 2 adjustment tabs each with 3 adjustment buttons and a large section of strong Velcro at the wrists. Removable shoulder and elbow protectors fit well and are not bulky at all, fitting snugly to the body

Pros
  • Great overall specs
Cons
  • Have doubts
