Description of Radio Motorola DP1400 UHF Analog Black

Motorola DP1400 is an analog radio. Designed to replace CP-series models such as CP040 and CP140. The radio station is based on a durable metal chassis, a reliable polycarbonate case is able to withstand fairly high loads and has an IP54 moisture and dust protection standard. The accessory connector of the new Motorola DP 1400 radio station is similar in design to conventional Motorola connectors and supports most peripheral devices from analog walkie-talkies. Motorola dp1400 comes standard with a 1400 mAh battery, but you can additionally purchase a high-capacity battery - 1600 mAh or 2200 mAh. Also worth noting is the full compatibility of the DP 1400 batteries with the CP 040 and CP 140 radios. The housing of the Motorola DP 1400 radio is fully compliant with the IP54 protection standard. The set of functions when operating in analog mode is quite standard and differs little from the CP-series. More opportunities open up after purchasing a license to activate the analog-to-digital mode.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

We use them at the airport, the charge keeps the shift from morning to evening, but it’s not enough for the night. It catches for about 2 km, there are no problems in the airport. Tenacious, every day pass from hand to hand, but everyone is worried and work normally

Pros
  • Reliability; the volume is such that at the airfield near the wound up aircraft you can hear what is being transmitted; range of action; ease of use
Cons
  • The volume knob becomes loose after a while and stops working on shutdown
