Too high for the lowest position without possibility of reduction

Overall, this is a great bang for your buck. If you're a relatively tall podcast recorder and like to sit with your back perfectly straight, then this mic is for you. The only thing that confuses me is that this didn't take into account the shorter side of humanity. I think every desktop mic should not only be able to go taller, but also shorter. By default, the lowest level that fits on your desk is too high for a desktop microphone.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Not the best

I think it would be nice if they sat a little lower in the lowest position, but that's a minor thing. They are as advertised. Sturdy and they stay in place. My dynamic mics are perfect for their clamps. As for "cleanliness”, this is the second time Revane has cited it as a rating criterion when there is no apparent reason for it. I give the shelves five stars for transparency so as not to penalize the seller. But come on guys. "Transparency" is not what you're looking for in a mic stand.

Not bad for a cheap stand.

The stand is cheap but very strong. The base is a good weight, but like any mic stand, it will tip over if hit hard. Everything assembled quickly and easily. The height is good for a table and easy to adjust. Put it on a chair or short table that can easily be used for an acoustic guitar mic and you can even do without the rear and maybe even the front amp mic. The only thing I will swear by is that the clamp clamp seems to give a little more than the other clamps. He felt free. But that's not…

Reliable and durable Best stand

[I'm a weekend performer, a musician with over 35 years of experience.] I bought this stand to use with a Moukey microphone. Technique: The base is solid and well weighted. The clutch for height adjustment is smooth and easy to grip and is easy to turn on and off. The microphone holder fits "standard" microphones, making it easy to adapt to other brands. There is also a small adapter to attach other styles or mic clips to the stand. I can use it to record guitar/bass amps, live performance and…

Great for most applications, just don't use a shock absorber.

I received the microphone stand and was impressed by how small but heavy the box was. I opened it up and was pleased to see the padding on the bottom pane which appeared to be quite heavy. This padding is designed to prevent abrasion on your table or other surface. It even came with a mic clip for common mic designs like the Shure SM57/58. However, I had a problem: it couldn't fully support the weight of my sE2200a II C, which I like to use for recording. I suspect it's because this mic…

The stand seems good though.

I ordered this microphone stand yesterday and it arrived today. I had things to take care of when I first got home from work so I had to wait a few hours to open it. I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy the base was. When I first considered buying a specific mic stand, I wasn't sure if it would support the weight of my Shure SM7B mic that I use for my recordings. So I started collecting the parts, opened up the included mic clip, and two small, obviously broken off parts fell out of the box…
