Great rear light! This review is for the newer version that comes with darker lenses. Tail light looks good and works! The tinted glass is dark and really cleans my Sportster's rear fender. The built-in turn signals are bright and work well. The quality is really good. There's no arguing about the value this taillight offers. I highly recommend. I had to remove the factory turn signals when I got the factory HD hard shell kit. I temporarily used some LED strips until I found a permanent solution, which is this taillight. Looks pretty good on my black bike. Note: The turn signals share a negative with the brake light, so you end up with two unused connections. I ordered a pair of 16" yellow LED strips that I will attach to my hard cases for extra turn signals. I'm pretty sure the taillight itself is illegal.

For thirty dollars this light can't be beat. I replaced the stock headlight with an '06 Sportster1200c. I disabled the internal blinker wire because I kept my existing signals and didn't care about the extra blinking. The LED is very bright. The fit was almost perfect. I had to massage the flashlight on the shaft body when tightening the screws to get the best waterproof fit. That is possible. If you just put it on and tighten the screws, the device will slide down and there will be a small gap

I have been using this flashlight on my 2006 HD fxdli for almost a year. I'm a club member in California so he's definitely seen some bumpy roads and rough rides. I was very pleased with the look and feel of this light. Then about a week ago while warming up my bike I noticed that the three LEDs that illuminate the license plate were not working. Wow, the prettiest hot bright low profile thing ever. And not that expensive. I would pay a few bucks more to have a plug, this plug is hard to find with pins. I had to disassemble the original connector and weld wires to it. (Type of falsification) The wiring is simple. It comes with a nice thick foam for waterproofing, but I have batter that would be enough to keep water from getting in and ruining the thing with all those welds on the back to the bottom. **UPDATE** 29.10 - finally installed. I didn't cut the wires so I used the HD harness and connected the wires directly to the harness. Works REALLY well. Definitely a good upgrade if you don't like the extra long brake light or want to do without the turn signals. The light is VERY bright. Compared to standard HD light I'm impressed. I bought this taillight for my 98 Dyna Super Glide. Evo Motor Dynas are getting old and I couldn't find any cheap LED brake/tail lights for them. This light will fit and work great in the original bracket if you trim the lamp holder area on the old bracket a bit.
