It was my pleasure to write a great review. The rotary cutter is excellent and well made. I make protective masks for medical staff. I wear a 492 mask. Because I have rheumatoid arthritis, I can't hold scissors because my ankles hurt. I'm not limited to a rotary cutter so it's easier to work with.

First of all you need to know that it is very spicy. And yes, that means I cut my finger. The blade snaps securely into place, but I wanted to loosen it up so it rolls better. Just an accident. It worked very well when cutting shapes out of fabric for face masks. I cut through 4 layers at a time.

Very surprised at the price, it was very sharp. My Fiskars, for which I paid three times as much, are junk. This cutter cuts accurately on the first try, so make sure you press down firmly on the measuring stick or guide. An additional blade is included. It's very very spicy and I'm very impressed, highly recommend for this price!

It was a cheap price, but the price matched the quality. The blades were noted by others as used and looked very worn. Mine weren't sharp and I had to go over 1 piece of fabric 6 times to cut it. So 4 layers is definitely not possible. Because the blades are so dull they pull on the fabric causing streaks and snags on my fabric.
